About me.....

I am a maker, a ceramicist. I make figurative ceramics. Coiled and carved.

I also make wheel thrown and coil built hand carved pots.

All of my work is made with stoneware - a high fired and durable clay.

My studio is now in my pottery - RED Pottery and Gallery in Redruth, Cornwall. My home is in the historical town of Penryn in South Cornwall. I live there with my teenage son and rescue greyhound.

In 1998 I graduated from Falmouth School of Art in Studio Ceramics and exhibited for a number of years before taking a 'Mum' break from making. During this time I worked in the Falmouth/Exeter University Library in Cornwall and returned to making with clay in early 2020.

Making is my passion and vocation. Working with the most ancient of materials to create sculptures and vessels for people to enjoy, engage with, live with or use in their everyday life.

I am a member of the West Country Potters Association, selected associate member of MAKE Southwest and Craft Potters Association associate member.
