Service Description

A two hour class on the potters wheel. I will demonstrate basic techniques and then oversee you making something of your own. Maximum of four people so you will get my full attention. Expect to get quite messy. So dress appropriately. I'll have apron on hand! What to expect - a little tour of the pottery - an intro to clays and processes - throw (on the wheel) 3 little bowls/dishes - choose a glaze for your finished pieces - all work will be fired and glazed - with your name stamped on the bottom - ready to collect in 4 to 6 weeks - can be posted for a small fee - a good laugh while also learning some basic skills.0 Realistically you won't make a dinner service :) but a little pot/bowl or two would be a good outcome. It'll be fun and informative and very messy. You can choose 2 or 3 pieces that I will then fire and glaze. Ready to collect within 4 weeks.
